Logbook Entries

This article will explain how to configure your system to generate logbook entries for your aircraft within Maintenance Hub.

Airframe Logbook Entries

The following diagram will assist you in configuring your settings and aircraft to generate logbook entries for your airframes.

Fields

  1. Created Date: this will be the date the logbook entry was first generated
  2. Tail Make Model: this will come from Aircraft -> Edit Aircraft
  3. Serial Number: this will come from Aircraft -> Edit Aircraft -> Other / Specs
  4. Based on Meter: this will come from Aircraft -> Aircraft Times and reflect the value of the "Airframe Current Time based on" drop down
  5. Meter Current Value: this will come from Aircraft -> Aircraft Times and reflect the value of the "<Meter> current value" entry for the airframe
  6. Total Time Acronym: this will come from Settings -> Maintenance Hub -> Logbook Types
  7. TTIS Value: this will come from Aircraft -> Aircraft Times and reflect the value of the "Total Time in Service (TTIS)" entry for the airframe (see #4 above for screen shot)
  8. Logbook Text: this will either be populated with the work log text if generated, or be blank if added ad hoc
  9. Return to Service Memo: this will come from Settings -> Maintenance Hub -> Logbook Types (see #6 above for screen shot)
  10. Signatory: each time a "Authorized Signature" user is selected and the "Add Signatory" button is pressed, a new line will get added to the logbook entry

Engine Logbook Entries

The following documentation will refer to "Engine 1", but Maintenance Hub supports up to 4 engines on an aircraft.

The following diagram will assist you in configuring your settings and aircraft to generate logbook entries for your engines.

Fields

  1. Created Date: this will be the date the logbook entry was first generated
  2. Engine Make Model: this will come from Aircraft -> Aircraft Times using the "Engine 1 Description" value
  3. Serial Number: this will come from Aircraft -> Aircraft -> Aircraft Times using the "Engine 1 Serial Number" value (see #2 above for screen shot)
  4. Based on Meter: this will come from Aircraft -> Aircraft Times and reflect the value of the "Engine 1 Current Time based on" drop down (see #2 above for screen shot)
  5. Meter Current Value: this will come from Aircraft -> Aircraft Times and reflect the value of the "<Meter> current value" entry for Engine 1
  6. Total Time Acronym: this will come from Settings -> Maintenance Hub -> Logbook Types
  7. TTIS Value: this will come from Aircraft -> Aircraft Times and reflect the value of the "Total Time in Service (TTIS)" entry for Engine 1 (see #2 above for screen shot)
  8. Time Since Overhaul Acronym: this will come from Settings -> Maintenance Hub -> Logbook Types (see #6 above for screen shot)
  9. TSOH Value: this will come from Aircraft -> Aircraft Times and reflect the value of the "Time Since Overhaul (TSOH)" entry for Engine 1 (see #2 above for screen shot)
  10. Logbook Text: this will either be populated with the work log text if generated, or be blank if added ad hoc
  11. Return to Service Memo: this will come from Settings -> Maintenance Hub -> Logbook Types (see #6 above for screen shot)

Propeller Logbook Entries

This will be identical to the Engine Logbook Entries section only using the relevant Propeller information instead of engine.
